This area of the website lists profiles of solutions that enable the delivery of platform as a service (PaaS). If you are wondering what that means, please read on…
As context, PaaS alone allows consumers to develop and deploy their own applications on a cloud infrastructure. Profiles of PaaS providers can be found here.
The solutions profiled here are not simply PaaS offerings. Instead, they are used by IT organizations or service providers to offer PaaS. They are essentially PaaS platforms or PaaS enabling platforms. Once installed by an IT organization or service provider, employees or customers can use the resulting PaaS to develop and deploy applications.
