This area of the website lists profiles of software based solutions that run within cloud computing environments and have been specifically designed to take advantage of cloud capabilities.
Note: These are not meant to be software as a service (SaaS) offerings. More typically the solutions listed here consist of software that can be installed and run in the cloud. For instance, database software designed to run in the cloud may be listed here. At the same time it is possible for a service provider to offer the related capability as a service. In the case of the database, a database as a service (DBaaS) provider may offer use of the database as a service.
