Overview

The complexity of new cloud technology and the rapid pace at which it is entering the marketplace make it difficult for organizations of all kinds to keep up with the latest developments, trends and offerings. Having someone who is well versed in these topics and able to speak about cloud computing from an independent perspective and from multiple angles is an invaluable asset for keeping pace.

Paul Burns, president of Neovise, is available to speak on many of the technology and business aspects of cloud computing.

He has participated in a variety of cloud industry speaking engagements, including:

  • Industry Events and Conferences: Paul speaks about cloud computing at a variety of industry events and conferences, including Cloud Connect, Interop and the Supercomputing Conference (SC).
  • Customer Events: Paul is a regular guest on webinars and online events. These include events produced by customers such as ProfitBricks, Internet Evolution, All Analytics and Geeknet.
  • Panels and Moderation: Paul moderates and leads discussions with other cloud computing industry experts. He has served in this capacity for organizations such as Enterprise Management 360 and Rainier Communications, where guests have come from Rackspace, Citrix, Contegix, ScaleBase, GigaSpaces and Cloudyn.
  • Podcast Production: Paul produces podcasts in his series titled Neovise Cloud Perspectives, featuring other interesting and information speakers. These include cloud pioneers such as Chris Pinkham, Randy Bias and Sinclair Schuller along with many other industry veterans and cloud computing leaders from cloud service provider and vendor organizations. Neovise Cloud Perspective Podcasts can be found on iTunes as well as the Neovise site here.
  • Additional Technology Speaking: Paul has spoken about other topics in technology at events such as the IT Financial Management Association (ITFMA), Network Operations Management Symposium (NOMS), Interworks (former HP user group). He has also been a frequent guest on webinars and webcasts about IT management topics.

Paul is equally versed in cloud computing and business topics, having earned both B.S. in Computer Science and M.B.A. degrees from Colorado State University. His extensive industry background — from writing code in the TCP/IP stack, to leading product strategy for enterprise management software —gives Paul the breadth and depth to connect with a variety of audiences at the right level.
