rpm package command tips

If you want to find which rpm contains a specific file in your linux system, you can use “rpm -qf” to get the package information.

opensuse:~ # rpm -qf /etc/vmware-tools/tools.conf
open-vm-tools-2008.09.03-5.49
opensuse:~ #
